Our Story

Aranya Harvest started in 2025 and is a family run operation. The idea began in Bali after many years of experience working in the agricultural sector and building relationships with various producers and farmers. We believe that high quality Indonesian coffee, cocoa, and other agricultural products can be achieved by being involved from the start and partnering directly with experienced farmers and producers who have spent decades cultivating the land and processing their harvest.

We work closely with smallholder farmers who have been practicing traditional organic methods for years. Many of them are part of co-operatives, farming collectives or village-owned enterprises (Badan Usaha Milik Desa). We try to maintain the quality of our products by ensuring best practices are followed throughout the production chain and our partners are paid fairly for their work.

In addition to helping our partners connect with a global market, we also act as a hub for sharing information among producers and farmers so that they can improve their products and practices (methods for processing organic waste into fertilizer, pest management, resilient or higher yield crop varieties, etc.).

In Sanskrit, aranya means forest or dense crop. The word evokes a sense of lush greenery which is representative of the landscape where our products are grown. Our hope is to be good stewards of the land and ensuring everyone in the supply chain of our products can prosper while safeguarding that lush greenery.
